Screen grabs of Logos

These are my first group of screen grabs to show the steps I have taken in creating my logo, first of all I started with the circles, creating 3 different colored circles and then writing the word pulse in the middle of the circles. I then though it would be a good idea to draw lines coming out of the circles so it would look like the lines on a heart beat monitor.

This is the first
Circle I have made for my logo and it is the biggest one of them all it will be the base for my logo and I have chosen to do it in purple so that it can fade in-woods into blue then into a light blue.  I used the shape to to make the shape.

This is my smaller circle and it is the darker blue, this will fade into a lighter blue.
Her is my smallest circle and it the lightest colored circle out of the three circles there will not be anymore circles .
Now I have entered my text the text I have chosen is a text that I downloaded from dafont and it is called 'acid'. I didn't think that it would stand out enough just colored in purple so I decided to put an outline on the text in black this made it stand out a lot more and made the text look more striking which is what wanted.
In the last two screen grabs it shows i have put the heart beat monitor line coming from the the logo to the outside of the logo into the white space, then to add effect added a line coming through the text all of these lines show what i want them to show because i want to link the logo to the name which is pulse and these lines are seen in hospitals monitoring peoples pulses/heart beats.

This is my second group of screen grabs for my logos this one is My VIP logo, I previously wrote out the word VIP in fireworks then edited the text in there , I then put it into photoshop and began on working into it. I fiddled with the contrast and brightness to try and make it look more firry. I then put a border around the out side of the logo to finish it off.

This is the word VIP that I edited in fireworks, I have put the effect on it so that it looks like it is on fire because I feel this is something that links with the the radio, I think that the radio is meant to be fresh and hot so this is something I have tried to demonstrate with the text.

Once I have imported the text I edited the contrast and brightness of the text, then I decided it would look even better if I added something to the outside of the text. So I add a border and edited that by putting shadow and bevel onto it.

This is my final group of screenshots and it is for my SHRED logo. Shred to me meant heavy metal to I got a blacked out guitar and set to work, I fist added the word shred to the guitar to make it look like it was the neck of the guitar. Then to make the logo look professional I used tools to edit the text so it fitted in well with the guitar its self, so I added a bored a textured the text.
Here is the first stage for my logo creation for the radio station 'shred,' I have added some text and a picture of the body of a black guitar. I have done this because I want the logo to form the shape of a guitar and I think this does it nicely.

Then I have decided that I will add some effects onto the text to make it blend in more with he guitar, so I added an outline onto the outside of the text and put a texture fill over it it make it look more rugged.
This is the final outcome for my shred logo I have edited  the text and guitar body a bit more. On the guitar body I have used the clone tamp tool to get rid of all the reflecting light bits, so that now it looks all black. Also I have added in a red guitar pic which could be the place to add in the frequency for the radio station.
