It is proposed that the music
video will be of 3 minutes in duration, filmed at 270
Glastonbury Road and Glenthorne High school and edited at our Sutton facility.
The Music video will be aimed at 16-18 year olds
For this video I have an idea and I have
decided what I want to do. I want there to be mainly 1 person in the video one a boy, the boy will be
the one lip syncs the song and who will play the guitar at some points. The narrative will start in a bath tub
where they boy has fallen into and is
alone, then other narratives will be in a performance space and in a
park/garden. The performance
scenes will be the main artist lip syncing and playing the guitar at the same
time. The costumes will match the
locations and all the clothes will be casual and when there are scenes outside
the costumes will still be casual but obviously thee will be coats and out door
clothes warn. There will lots of
moving camera shots one I will use the dolly back wards shot, which is when
someone walks towards the camera as the camera moves back.
Several locations have been visited and a shortlist has been drawn
up:
Suggested locations are:
Perforane space
House
Bathroom
Garden
The music video will
include the following:
a)
Animation
b)
Tracking shot
c)
Lip syncing
d)
Playing the guitar
These conventions will all
come together in my music video; the main character will be lip syncing all the
way through the play and there will be different shots of the character whilst
he is lip syncing and also there will be shot where he is playing the guitar
along with the music. Also in the music video I will have animations that run
through the video telling there own story.

Sources of requirements
I will be sourcing all of
my props and costumes from my extensive amount of resources that I have
acquired .
In
my music video i will be using a number of different props in each different
scene that I am shooting. I will be arranging to hire the costumes and props and other such things from the hire company, London Film. They are a London based company who help smaller media companies produce there media products.
Sofa-
in the first scene of the music video I am playing the guitar on a sofa this
will be found from a furniture company who I know very well and will allow me to borrow it.
Guitar-
a guitar will be played many times throughout the video and I will be bringing
that in from home, as I own my own guitar.
Sponge
Letters - I will be using a number of sponge letters that will be used to make
some animations that I can put into my video to make it more interesting, I have
these letters at home.
The
costume in my music video will be contemporary clothing that people would were
everyday, it does change in each different scene.
First
Costume
Shirt,
Blazer and Tie - this costumes is warn in the first scene and it is to signify
that the main character has just come home from work and collapsed into the
bath and has no will power to pull himself up. I will supply the whole costume
as I have all of the costume at home.
Second
Costume
Parka,
Black Jeans - when the character wears theses clothes he is outside where it is
cold so he needs a coats, but in the scene it is to show that he is going
outside again for the first time in a while. The character will be wearing a
coat that I have so I will supply the coat and jeans.
